Resume Building

Well resumes used to be where youd type a single sheet and it would clearly say in complete clear sentences what it is that you have accomplished and hoped to accomplish. but now, people are changing that - theyre making longer resumes, filled with nouns, and keywords describing their main accomplishments. this is due to companies who no longer read full resumes. rather, they screen them using computer programs which look for keywords, and they hire the person with the most 'hits'.

im not sure how good this is for the companies -- instead of getting a person who is truly qualified, theyre getting a person who knew to put down the right keywords -- whether or not theyre true doesnt matter. however, companies are looking for any way to save time now, when there is so much to do and such little time to do it.
